D-Flow Mobile

The smart solution for fast data capture and seamless web integration.

App

The D-Flow App

Keep D-Flow with you wherever you go.

With the D-Flow App, you can scan barcodes, QR codes and NFC tags directly with your mobile device. Capture photos linked to scanned codes offline and upload them once a suitable connection is available again. You can also use a customisable web interface for your individual workflows.

This allows you, for example, to accelerate and automate inventory and warehouse processes, perform visitor and participant registrations on the move, digitise logistics and transport workflows directly at the place where the data originates, or document quality assurance on site using images and offline functionality – and these are just some of the possibilities.
A smartphone already integrated into your IT environment can be used directly to work natively with D-Flow and access your content. RFID can be connected through external scanners.

Our mobile data capture app is available for iOS and Android, can be connected directly to your D-Flow platform and therefore seamlessly completes your digital processes.

Privacy

Privacy of our app

We take the protection of your personal data very seriously. This privacy notice informs you about how the D-Flow App processes personal data when you use our app.

Data collected

  • Camera access: Used for barcode and QR code scans as well as for taking photos.
  • NFC access: Used to read compatible NFC tags.
  • Photo data: You can take photos or select them from your gallery to upload them.
  • Scan data: Contents of barcodes, QR codes and NFC tags, as well as RFID tags read through external scanners, are captured and transmitted to the configured web application.
  • Configuration data: Settings entered by you (e.g. web URL, SecretKey) are stored locally on your device.
  • Offline data: Scan and photo data that has not yet been transferred is stored locally on your device for offline functionality.

Purpose of processing

Processing is carried out exclusively to provide the functions of the app: scanning, displaying and transmitting codes/photos, running your web application and ensuring secure data transmission.

Data transmission & security

When a SecretKey is configured, all data transmitted by the app is encrypted using this SecretKey. Depending on the customer-side configuration, the configured web application may nevertheless be accessible over HTTP rather than HTTPS.

The app communicates only with the web application you configure (WebView and upload URL).

Apart from configuration and offline data stored locally, the app currently performs no further independent storage, analysis, telemetry or crash reporting.

Offline functionality

Scan and photo data can be stored offline. Transmission takes place once a suitable connection is available again. This data is removed automatically after a successful upload or by manual deletion. Until then, it remains locally on your device and is currently not additionally encrypted by the app.

Transfer to third parties

No data is shared with third parties unless you initiate this yourself by using an external web application.

Legal basis

Processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) and Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent, e.g. for camera access).

Changes to this privacy notice

We reserve the right to adapt this privacy notice if necessary in order to reflect changes in legal requirements or new features of the app.
