Platform

The D-Flow platform is an integrated ecosystem combining web technology with native extensions. It enables organisations to implement a wide range of complex digital business processes in a structured, secure and scalable way.

Concept

One platform – three core products

The platform currently consists of three central components:

D-Flow (Web)

The web-based core: business logic, roles, data models and process orchestration.

D-Flow Desktop

Native desktop application for integrating local files, systems and hardware.

D-Flow Mobile

Mobile app for iOS & Android for scanning and NFC capture, including offline capture with later transmission.

Together they form a flexible system that can operate both in a browser and through native system access.

How the platform components work together.

Architecture

Web platform with native bridges

At the centre is our D-Flow web application. This is where the following reside:

  • Business logic
  • Role and permission concepts
  • Data models
  • Process orchestration
  • Integrations and interfaces

The native applications act as targeted extensions:

  • Desktop for local files, devices, terminal server environments and legacy integration
  • Mobile for location-independent data capture, scanning workflows and offline usage

Business logic resides in the web application and connected business systems. Desktop and Mobile provide the local device and system capabilities needed.

Benefits

Advantages of this platform architecture

  • Centralised business logic – no duplicate implementation
  • Clear separation between process logic and system access
  • Scalable from single workstations to terminal server environments
  • Suitable for regulated and structured industries
  • Extendable without architectural disruption
  • Usable independently by customers – optionally with our support

The products are not isolated applications but building blocks of a coherent system.

Use cases

What requirements can it support?

The platform enables implementations such as:

  • Digital specialist applications with role and permission concepts
  • File-based integrations via structured interfaces
  • Scanning and validation workflows
  • Mobile offline capture with later transmission
  • Integration of existing desktop systems
  • Combination of web processes + desktop imports + mobile scanning

The architecture allows a wide range of complex requirements to be implemented in a structured way.
